A1-Basements. Who are we? A1-Basements is the newest division of A-1 Remodeling 568 Columbia Tpk. East Greenbush, NY 12061 518-477-5112 - Office 518-477-5331 - Fax Established 1987       A-1 Remodeling was started out from the house. We used our trusty old station wagon to haul supplies and work out of for a long time. Yup!! We were tailgaters. We began doing siding, windows and roofs. Through the years as we got more knowledge, we expanded our expertise and moved our operation to East Greenbush, bought some trucks and hired a small crew. We decided to keep our expenses down by staying small and give our customers quality work.       We branched out to include all phases of remodeling in kitchen, bathrooms and in fact the whole house except major masonry. The whole house of course meant we would be remodeling basements. One day we happened on a wet and musty basement. The owner only wanted some minor plumbing problems fixed at the time and we easily solved his problem; but his floor was a little wet and it was musty down there. That amazing "Light Bulb" went off and wouldn't stop blinking.       We realized there was a great need for curing water problems in basements. Soooooo!! We went to school to learn about water. We were taught how it acts, the damage it can do and how to take care of the problem so homeowners could use their basements for other things than a huge fish bowl for guppies.
